Students attending Prom and Post Prom are required to comply with Hinsdale Central regulations including:

  • All students must have a picture i.d. with them at all times.
  • No selling of, using of, possession of, or being under the influence of alcohol and/or any other drugs. 
  • No smoking.  No beverages are permitted, not even water.
  • If your date is not a Hinsdale Central student, you are responsible for informing him/her of these regulations. If your date is 21 or over, alcohol is still prohibited before or during Prom and Post Prom.
  • Anyone suspected of being in violation of these regulations prior to Prom will not be allowed on the motor coaches.  If a violation of these regulations occurs during Prom, your parents will be called and will be required to pick you up from Navy Pier.  Students subject to arrest by the Chicago Police while on the Cruise.
  • Backpacks and bags may be hand searched at the discretion of the chaperones.

Transportation

  • Every Prom and Post Prom attendee is required to take a motor coach bus to and from Navy Pier (including Post Prom attendees.)
  • We will assign after tickets/tables are assigned.
  • Buses will be posted in the cafeteria and on the prom website the week of April 28th – May 3rd.
  • It is your responsibility to know your bus number.
  • On the bus you will receive your ticket for the Ferris Wheel.  Treat it like cash…we only have one ticket for each attendee.
